Some life and anime update (Part 1)

I have a bit of time today since it's my last day in this team. Obviously I'm not swarmed with work and I'm just sitting here at my cubicle doing nothing. I decided not to bring my tablet today because I thought I would have a gazillion of things to read (work from the new role and stuff) or perhaps, start packing my things and move to my new seat. But well, my new seat is not ready and they need to get my phone line there.

So, my feelings about this whole moving to a new role. Happy of course, that I'm finally seated in a better position. Not that I don't like my current role, I do. It's just that, I probably want to drive myself to my full potential and move forward. Lol. Ok. What is all that bullshit. Let's not talk about that. FYI, will be reporting to a new boss tomorrow. Good luck to me.

Today, I thought I wanted to write a bit about Anime that I've been following this season. I know it's a bit too late, but well, here goes.
This season (Spring 2016) I've been following a number of good anime (according to me that is) and I'm still sulking with the disappearance of Gintama.

1) Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
Image from: MyAnimeList

My husband really likes this series. It kinda reminded me of that Tom Cruise movie, what was it call? Edge of Tomorrow was it? This is about a boy, Natsuki Subaru who got transported to a different world where he dies numerous time. Why? Go watch. This anime is still has a bucketload of mysteries that still needs to be uncover. As usual, I don't want to give out too much info for those who has not seen it. For those who are following this anime, let me know what you think.

2) Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

Image from: MyAnimeList

So I heard the director for this anime is the same one as the one who directed Shingeki no Kyoujin. As far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) this is anime original and there is no manga for this (so far). This series is set on the island country Hinomoto where a mysterious virus appears and the infection transforms humans in to Kabane (a zombie-like beings with steel hearts i-dont-know). So humans hide themselves in fortresses against the threat of these Kabanes. Well, of course, like any other stories, there's always a plot twist and between humans and kabanes, there is Kabaneri, humans that are infected by this virus but has managed and not been fully transformed into Kabane. You don't have to ask, these are usually the heroes. Go watch. It's a good series.

3) Boku no Hero Academia
Image from: MyAnimeList

Been hearing a lot about Boku no Hero Academia being the anime that is on par or relatively on par with Naruto. I don't know man... I never read the manga and I'm starting out with the anime and I found it... well, just okay. Maybe I'm wrong. it's only at Episode 10 anyway. I would try reading the manga and hope it redeems itself better in manga. If you're wondering, this anime is about this boy Izuku who has no natural quirk (superpower) but wants to be a superhero. Yeah..

4) Bungou Stray Dogs

Image from: MyAnimeList

One of the most awaited series for me every week. Mystery and supernatural (bishounen.duh.) This series features Nakajima Atsushi who was kicked out of his orphange, on the brink of starvation and was rescued by a man who was attempting suicide (Dazai-san) Dazai is a member of a special detective agency and the team consists of individuals with supernatural powers. Well yeah, i mean, just go watch. Really. And oh, Dazai's seiyuu is Mamoru Miyano!!!

5) Sakamoto desu ga?
Image from: MyAnimeList

Bahahahaha!! Ok this sits next to Level E. Seriously. It's so random, I died everytime I watched it. I'm also reading the manga now and I love the fact that everytime I feel shitty, this lifted my spirit. Hahaha. Watch it, people! P/s: Fuuri said, Sakamoto is Bayonetta's son! HAHAHAHA

Will continue in Part 2

Summer 2012 Anime

Oh Sh- Been a while since I last posted anything here. Talk about writer's block. Huhu. Anyway, hope that everyone has been living a great life thus far. I know I've always been giving excuses when it comes to writing. And here, I have to blogs that I need to update! (P/s: Do visit the other so-called "formal" lifestyle blog: Live Your Own Pace)

So, what have I been up to?
Many! I still owe u guys the L'Arc~en~Ciel post right? I'll get right at it.

But before that, let's talk a bit about Summer 2012 Anime

As usual, I would only write about the Anime that I'm looking forward/ might want to watch. Hahaha. I'm good like that. Somehow, the Spring 2012 Anime was a disappointment to me.
( Arrangement is random :D )

1) Kingdom
via: Kingdom

Release: June
Genre: Action, Historical, Drama
Seiyuu: Masakazu Morita, Fukuyama Jun

Hmm.. this anime is based on a manga by Yasuhisa Hara. Well, it was released a couple of weeks ago and I've watched one episode. What I can gather so far is it's about 2 orphans, one who aims to become 'The greatest General' and the other who will be an emperor and is set during the Warring Period of ancient China. I'm not sure if I still wanna watch it. I'm not really attracted to the art. (Yes, I'm very picky and particular about it, unless the storyline is good) As for me, a historical anime has to have that deep impact. For example: (clears throat) I'm a fan of ikemen. I mean, come on, most of us girls do. And something like Hakuouki would really hit the spot!

Don't think you miss anything if you don't watch it. So,
I say: Watchable

2) Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita

Release: July
Genre: Fantasy
Seiyuu: Nakahara Mai

I have no idea what this anime is all about, but the title is very intriguing. I just might watch it. So I guess I'll wait for it's release date and then update about it. Gonna watch it because of Nakahara Mai!!! (If you wonder who she is, she's playing Zakuro of Otome Youkai Zakuro)

I say: Might Watch

3) Natsuyuki Rendezvous

Release: July
Genre: Romance, Drama, Supernatural
Seiyuu: Nakamura Yuuichi, Fukuyama Jun, Ohara Sayaka

Romance-themed Anime. I think my last favourite was Kimi ni Todoke. Oh how I love Kazehaya. Wonder what this will serve? From the info I gather, it's about a part-time florist, a heartbroken store manager and a half-naked good looking ghost husband! With Nakamura Yuuichi (Saotome Alto, kyaa!) and FukuJun, I'm hoping for something that makes my heart "blossoms"!

I say: Must Watch!

4) Arcana Famiglia: Yūreisen no Majutsushi

Release: July
Genre: Action, Fantasy
Seiyuu: Mamiko Noto, Fukuyama Jun, Tomokazu Sugita, Nakamura Yuuchi

I dunno what to expect from this, but it does look interesting. Can I say it's like... a Mafia Family with supernatural powers? Whatever it is. I'm watching this. Check out the seiyuu line up mang!

I say: Must Watch!

5) Chouyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi

Release: July
Genre: Historical, Romance
Seiyuu: Endo Aya, Suwabe Junichi, Hayami Saori

This is the historical IMPACT that I'm talking about. HAHAHA! Ok, I'm sorry for putting a point out of my preferences. However, Yes, this is the type of Historical Anime that I want to watch. With Endo Aya (Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier), Sawabe Junichi (Grimmjow from Bleach), Hayami Saori (Musubi from Sekirei) in the seiyuu line up. Let's hope this is a good one.

I say: Must Watch!

6) Binbougami ga!

Release: July
Genre: Comedy, Supernatural
Seiyuu: Hanazawa Kana, Tomatsu Haruka

Finally! A Sunrise-produce Anime! An anime based on a manga in JUMP! Hahahaha! Ok I don't wanna read the plot summary, I don't wanna check out the manga, yet, I'm just gonna wait.

I say: Must Watch!

7) Hakuouki:Reimei-roku

Release: July
Genre: Historical, Supernatural, Romance (Gyaku-harem?)
Seiyuu: Shinichiro Miki, Showtaro Morikubo, Hiroyuki Yoshino

The prequel of the previous Hakuouki series. No need to elaborate on this =_=

I say: Might Watch

8) Sword Art Online

Release: June
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Game, Romance
Seiyuu: Tomatsu Haruka, Itou Kanae, Taketatsu Ayana

Not my type of Anime. But I'll give it a try, coz the character is cute :D

I say: Watchable

9) Hagure Yuusha no Estetica

Release: July
Genre: Supernatural
Seiyuu: Nobuhiko Okamoto, Hikasa Youko, Hanazawa Kana, Takahiro Sakurai

Every season, there has to be an anime related to "Demon King" and "Heroes". OH well, I'm gonna watchi this because of Takahiro Sakurai. Haven't heard him voicing anything for a long time.

I say: Might Watch

10) Campione!

via:Campione!

Release: July
Genre: Romance, Harem, Comedy, Magic
Seiyuu: Hikasa Youko, Hanazawa Kana

I'm not sure what this anime is about, but I'm watching this :D

I say: Watchable

So what anime are you guys watching this season??

春が来るから

Since I have so much time (not really =_=) on nothing, I decided to actively write stuff on my blog again. Kuso Kaisha has blocked me from echofon-ing (u know what i mean) so i'm gonna make myself a little bit productive on this side. More like, 'unlocking my creative mind'. I might as well continue writing my SDK FanFiction: The Messenger which is looooooong dead (yeah. writer's block).

By the way, today I feel like writing about the coming Spring Anime 2011. Actually, the ones I'm looking forward to watch =) There are about 19 of them. Some I'm familiar with, some I've never heard of. I'm sure that I might drop a lot out of these 19 series. Oh, by the way, at the beginning of every new season for anime, I will have a folder called "To Drop or not to drop". Miahahaha. So we'll start off the countdown:

19)Kämpfer für die Liebe
OH this. Just because I watched the first one. Not that I'm looking forward to it. Another trap anime. =_=

18)Ore tachi ni tsubasa wa nai
Something that looks interesting to watch. =)

17)Nichijou
(Have yet to get my hands on the details)

16)A Channel
(Have yet to get my hands on the details)

15)Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko
Something interesting I guess..

14)Hoshizora e kakaru hashi
Harem-themed anime. Meh.

13)Hidan no Aria
Omoshiroi kamo....

12)30sai no hoken taiiku
THIS. I'm sure this is one funny anime! ahahaha!! So yeah, U get to be in the list!

11)Moshidora
Moshidora is a 10 episode anime (according to source: ANN). Well, it's a yakyuu-themed anime. So that's a Yes for me.
AN: The title is way too long. "Moshi Kōkō Yakyū no Joshi Manager ga Drucker no Management o Yondara" =_=" LOL!

10)Kami Nomi II
The story of the avid gamer Keima. Ah, i'm lazy to write about this. LOL. I'm sure everyone watched the first season.

9)[C] The Money of Soul and Possibility Control
Another interesting title. I hope it doesn't suck. Like Level E. The title was... WOW. and WOW, it's like my weekly dosage of trolling traps! :D (OH YES, Level E is awesome)

8)Sket Dance
Saw the manga and the art is nice. Not sure what the story is about but I think this one should be interesting. A parody-themed anime, perhaps? Actually the word 'misadventures' caught my eyes. This must be a ROFLMAO-themed anime! :D

7)Hana-saku Iroha
Tomatsu Haruka! yeay! =) Oh I love this type of anime.

6)Maria Holic: ALIVE
Oh! * Hanaji * hahahaha!!!!

Here are the TOP 5

5) Deadman wonderland
I'm sure this is going to be awesome. The title itself is already awesome. Not to mention Paku Romi and Hanazawa Kana combi. XD NICE. I didn't really read through the synopsis of this anime (nor did I Wiki-ed it =_=) I hate spoilers.

4) Steins;Gate
Play the game! Hahahaha!!! Oh well, it's been a while since I heard Tomokazu Seki's voice <3<3<3<3 and also Miyano Mamoru's voice. (what was the last one? Star Driver?) But whatever, this is one of the anime I look forward to watching in Spring =)

3) Tiger and Bunny
Don't be fooled by the title. Maa, I was like "What the F is with the title" when I looked at the image accompanying the news i checked out in ANN. It's a mecha-themed anime from Sunrise. I'll watch anything from Sunrise. LOL.
AN: Did I ever tell u that I wanna become a janitor at Sunrise? LOL.

2) Ao No Exorcist
First reason : IT's FUKUYAMA JUN and Nobuhiko Okamoto! <3 * nosebleed * Oh if you're wondering who are these two. Well they are the infamous seiyuu of Lelouch Lamperouge (FJ) and Usui Takumi (NO). Oh! There's also Naka-pan and Kamiya-san. miahahah =)))
Second reason: Demonic things are attractive =)
AN: I have yet started on the manga, but I will soon =)

1) Gintama
Need I say more. Refer posts:

Long overdue...

If this post is edible and has an expiry date, I would have died by now =_= but anyways, here's the news. I've LONG completed my Samurai Deeper Kyo (English Version) manga collection! (Yeay!!! OMEDETOU!!). By the way, I had it in my hand since July. Hahah!! And nope, I haven't read it. It's still in the plastic wrap, fresh from Kinokuniya. I know what happened in the end already so I decided to keep it that way until I start reading the whole series again. ahhahah!!!

Volume 37/38:The final installment of Samurai Deeper Kyo (English version)

I'm not sure if all of you have heard of "Samurai Deeper Kyo" by Akimine Kamijyou. If you have this in mind --> "Oh. That. I watched the anime and it sucks" Well, get out of here! Please don't judge the manga by the anime. You know anime storyline is usually estranged from and not loyal to the manga. Take Fullmetal Alchemist for example. Thank God they did Brotherhood and was loyal to the manga.

Ok back to Samurai Deeper Kyo (SDK).

Image 1: Samurai Deeper Kyo Logo

This was recommended by a used-to-be-good friend of mine somebody I know years ago. Around 8-9 years ago? I too, started off by watching the anime and of course, like everybody else, it was a turn off. What kind of Samurai story has alien-like-monster in it? AND not to mention during Tokugawa era. Ok, fine if you want it that way, but I didn't like it. The story in the anime was WAAYYYYYY different from the original manga. IN the Anime, Kyo was an artificial construct, born of Kyoshiro's attempt to purge violence and cruelty from himself. Which is NOT the real story. Kyo and Kyoshiro are two different individual.

What made me go on with the anime although I said "gosh this is crap" was the character, Sanada Yukimura (真田 幸村) (voiced by "Aniki" Megumi Ogata!!). The excellent and brilliant general, infamous for his military tactics. Of course, he was awesome in the anime, the manga and in real life! lolol!! Yukimara has 10 loyal ninjas that follows him around (imperceptible in the eye of normal human being) lol! They are the Sanada 10 (Sanada Jyuyushi: 真田十勇士)

Image 2: Sanada Yukimura in the anime

So I got attracted to finding out if the manga is the same as the anime. I'm glad I did. The manga IS AWESOME. And I fell in love with most of the characters in SDK, especially the main character Demon Eyes Kyo (Onime no Kyo: 鬼眼の狂).

Image 3: Kyo doing his "Mumyo Jinpu Ryu" in the anime

This. You have to read the manga. I'm not gonna summarize the whole gd thing. This is marketing strategy people! Buy the tankoubon!! All I can say is this manga is awesome. Although it's an old series, I've read it about 12 times because I just love the art, the story line and the ending.

Image 4: Kyo and the gang

Like I said. I read it 12 times. Hope that triggered your curiousity. hahaha!! By the way, Kamijyo-sensei is also the author for Code:Breaker and Shirogane no Karasu. So, Read This People!!

Warning: If you haven't watch the anime or read the manga, PLEASE GET YOURSELF AWAY FROM THE ANIME. And enjoy the manga to the fullest! Thanks! :D

Entropy At Work: Why Do I Read Manga?

I've reached the quarter century mark in my life but I'm still a kid at heart ( I still haven't grown my 4 wisdom teeth okay). I love watching Anime, collecting gunpla, collecting Anime DVDs, buying and reading Japanese magazine of which only related to Anime stuff [for now] (which 3/4 of the time needs my full attention on drooling over 2D characters with rare poses and another 91/4 to translate what was written in it) and above all would be buying and reading Manga. Sometimes I wonder why do I love reading Manga so much? I love reading books but Manga has extremely drool-able and nose bleed-able bishounen characters visual aids.

Here are some (what I thought) good reasons:

1).....
2).....
3).....

Really.. I just can't give any REASON why I love reading Manga. Do I have to have a reason for it? If you love something, just go and grab it!

P/S: This post is rather stupid. But Who Cares?! :D

I'll recommend some good Manga in the next post.

Translation:
bishounen - extremely beautiful (yes i mean beautiful) young men
manga-ka - artistes that draw manga

Banjiya Blues FTW.

I've been listening to Banjiya Blues after the u-know-what. So I've picked up the lyrics and translation. Here goes:

Sesuji no bashi ikiteiuku
Kuchi de iu no wa kantan, daga genjitsu wa kibishii.
Iki gatte senobishi te mo
Sekai wa sore wo tataki no mesu
PRide furikazashi hoeta tokode
Omae nanka daremo mitenai
Kyuukutsu na kono sekai
omae wa tamashii wo utta
Hizamazuki tanoshikumonai no ni emi wo ukabete
Omae wa sono tabi ni nanika wo korosu
suri hette kizusuite
sore demo omae wa ikiteiku sa
Gin iro no sekai minamotte
Gin iro no tamashii mune ni himete
Gin iro no kami nabikasete
Gin iro no tamashii kokoro ni himete

I grow a backbone and start to live
It's easy to just talk but in truth reality is rough
Even if i feel tough and grow taller, the world is really dusting me aside
I urfurl my pride and start yelling out
It seems like u dont see anyone
the world is rigid, so u sold ur soul

u kneel and smile even though u are not happy
in the meantime , something dies
fading away and getting hurt
even so u continue to live

watching over this silver coloured world
hiding this silver colored soul inside
Flutteting silver coloured hair
hiding this silver coloured soul in your heart

This is not the time to listen to Banjiya Blues, Kono Yaro!

Okay, for you ppl who knows what I'm going through today might be saying "Oi, sempat gik nya ber-blog ritok". Yeah.. I know, stress. Stress. Very stress. I mean, I don't see why. But I might be putting too much hope to this or maybe because it's been a long time since I last faced this, but whatever it might be, I will be facing it in about 4 hours time. (Sweaty palms....)

Again, I've been stopping myself from listening to Banjiya Blues today. (Bad omen!) Yeah. I'm a freak. Shoot me. I'm rambling now... I hope I won't ramble later. I hope to rumble though. Hahaha!! I must nail this. Whatever the outcome is, I should just be neutral about it. Or I'll be depressed for the rest of my life. (And I should go watch some soap later...)

Getting into the Blues....

Oh No. (Oh yes!) I'm seriously into the "Seishun Banzai" mode. Been listening to Banjiya Blues (Gintama OST) the whole week. It's like a driver to depression and then to more hopeful future. I have to get out of here as soon as possible. I don't think I can take another second in this position. Unfortunately, something is very very wrong with me. I can't make a move. Rather, the 'move' is very very slow. Everytime I think about returning to the current position, I will feel like crying a river, no... a sea.

I don't know how it all begun but I know I hate to be here. Maybe when I heard those words from ano kuso yaro, maybe then the trigger was pulled. I know I've been clinging on the rope for so long but I can never decide whether I should let go or still hold on to it despite the pain. I know. I'm pretty pathetic. I don't need a reminder. Sometimes I think of why I'm still here. Eventhough I told myself to only give it another year. This time, I'm pretty sure I cannot take it anymore. My soul is definitely crumbling.

Silver Ball... I mean.... Soul.

It's very rare for me to fall in love with an idiot. (Please narrow down the subject to a 2D character, thank you). Seriously, I've never (so far) liked any character that has no common sense, that picks nose whenever and wherever he can and thinks of his d*ck all the time. Yes. I love Sakata Gintoki. He makes me laugh better than human (oh no! I did not just say that!). I know those who are reading this now wonder who Gin-chan is and why oh why did I really like this baka. Well, ladies and gentlemen, sit back while I introduce you to my current addiction, Gintama!

Image: Gintama

Gintama (Gin Tama - Silver Soul) is a manga by Hideaki Sorachi and is currently still ongoing on Weekly Shonen Jump. Basically, it's about Edo which is invaded by aliens called Amanto and apparently these aliens overpowered the government, banned Samurais from carrying katanas and took over everything. However, the story focused on Gin-chan who runs the Yorozuya (odd-job Gin-chan! famous for his tennen-paama (natural permed hair)) together with his two comrades Shinpachi and an alien girl, Kagura. They would do any type of job for any amount of money.

Other characters include the Shinsengumi, lead by Kondou Isao who is also a baka and stalker that's crazy-in-love with Shinpachi's sister, Otae-san; Vice-Captain - Hijikata Toushirou a mayo-addict; 1st Division Captain: Okita Sougo - a natural DoS; the Spy - Yamazaki - who is a walking parody of Prince of Tennis, only that he loves badminton. And many2 others. These Shinsengumi are always seen chasing the infamous terrorist, the leader of the Joui, Katsura Kotaro. He was Gintoki ex-comrade during the Amanto's invasion and is always seen with his pet Elizabeth.

There are too much to tell about Gintama, you have to watch it for yourself. All I can say is, Gintama always makes my day. Whenever I feel like shit, whenever I'm happy, anytime, I would definitely do a re-run on Gintama.

P/s: I'm ALWAYS too lazy to explain about good things. So please. Just watch! Gintama is currently on Episode 195. Take your time to watch it. Trust me. It's Worth It!

Weiß und Schwarz

I'm not really a fan of Gothic Shoujo/Loli shota anime or manga. (Ok. I lied) I mean. I 'm not a big fan but I don't mind reading or watching them. Last year, I was so into this series called The Earl Cain Series by Kaori Yuki. It has two parts, the first part of the series is called: The Cain Saga. The second part is called: Godchild. Though I only read the second half of the series, I can say it's damn good. (RIFF~~ *drools* )

Pic1: Cain Hargreaves of Godchild (volume 1 manga cover)

As always, I'm not a victor of heroes department. I always love characters who are not on the front page of every manga cover (except for Samurai Deeper Kyo, of course). P/S:Who doesn't like Kyo can go jump off the nearest cliff. Hahahah!! Ooopss.. another OOT from me. Tokorode, back to the main topic.

Recently, I've been reading another manga called Kuro Shitsuji or in English, The Black Butler and it is serialized in GFantasy. (SEBASTIAN!!!!~ *Drools* *Faints* *DIES*). Though it's not in tankoubon version yet for English translation, but scanlation version is just fine for me (Thank You to those who works hard on the scans! Good JOB!) I've been following the anime too and I love it. (Sebastian MOVESSS!!!!!!) *clears throat* Shitsurei shimashita... (*I won't mention his name again i promise... NOT*) Anyway, since Kuro Shitsuji is also set during the Victorian Era, it kinda made me realize the similarity to the manga Godchild.

Pic 2: Kuroshitsuji - Ciel Phantomhive and his loyal butler, Sebastian

Here's a bit of both Godchild and Kuro Shitsuji and the similarities of both manga.

1) Setting:
Both Godchild and Kuro Shitsuji are set during the Victorian Era in England.

2) All about the boy...
Both Godchild and Kuro Shitsuji focused on the young Hakushaku~ (though I guess Kuro Shitsuji focused more on... Sebastian~ Sebastiannnnnn~~~!!! >.< *clear throats* Sugi...) Godchild: Cain Hargreaves Kuro Shitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive

3) The HOT Butler
Good-looking, drop dead gorgeous, highly skilled, mysterious, hot BUTLER.
Godchild: Riffael Raffit
Kuro Shitsuji: Sebastian Michaelis

Pic 3: Riff and Cain of Godchild (Volume 5 manga cover)

Pic 4: Sebastian and Ciel of Kuroshitsuji

4) Jack The Ripper
Both Godchild and Kuro Shitsuji featured Jack The Ripper case.

5) Seriously freaky dudes.
Godchild: The Coffin Maker
Kuro Shitsuji: The Undertaker

6) Both Young Hakushaku reminded me of L'Arc~en~Ciel
Godchild: Godchild's main character, Cain Hargreaves really reminded me of Hyde of L'Arc~en~Ciel. I don't know which part, most probably the fashion sense. Hahaha.. Ah well, that's my opinion.
Kuro Shitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive from Kuro Shitsuji.... Ciel-chan, his name already hit me like a thunder :D

7) Boys acting as girls
Both Ciel and Cain dressed up as girls.

8) The Butler has another story
At least I know what's Riff's secret and his dark side (the real Riff). I'm not so sure about Sebastian, he's still a mystery. All I know about him is he's a demon.

9) The unwanted child
Godchild: Earl Cain was born from incestuous relationship of his father Alexis Hargreaves and his sister.
Kuro Shitsuji: Still a mystery. But through out the story Ciel Phantomhive is known to be an unclean child.

That's as far as the similarities I could collect, for now. I'm kinda on hiatus... With Kuro Shitsuji manga. There are so many things to read.... Hahaha... And I start collecting D.Gray-Man already. Though I already watched the series, it still doesn't satisfy me. I will need to re-read the manga and wait for the tankoubon version. I'll look into it later (Kuro Shitsuji that is) and I will hunt for more....

"Watashi wa akuma de, shitsuji desu kara....."

Stress plus bossa

I've always been moved by the tunes of bossa nova. It's sorta like cool jazz, samba fusion tune which is relaxing and kinda take you away from the hassle of the city (and mind). This unique mix got me stuck in this mode (relax and lazy) for a while and it's kinda a temporary substitute (temporary AND substitute?? what the..) for my current mind-relaxing method (sleeping). A change of taste u say?? No. No. No. It's 'diversification'.

Bossa nova tune.

Basically what I know is, bossa nova comes from Brazil. That's as much as I know about it. Period. (I'll write more about it once i get my hands full of the details, but for now, let's just enjoy the music :P ) Regardless of the history and the fascinating story behind the genre, I'm very much in love with it.

A few days back, I was at MPH with my parents (yes...I bought books... it's Stress-Relief Therapy). I was enjoying the music that they put on in MPH, seriously, I was fascinated by it. The first thing I had in mind was "Deja Vu... ka?". It's like the same thing had happened to me before. Then I realized, it's just like the first time I heard the Ginza Bossa Nova. The music was awesome. I even asked the counter for the CD, and it's Brazillian Bossa Nova. Coolness, I thought. But I just left it to that... My mind keeps on thinking about it though. I even thought of buying the CDs. Hahaha... This week, my eveyday life seems to be much associated with this genre. I wasn't aware of it at first, until yesterday. (Not really...) I've been downlading bossa tunes for a while now and very much satisfied with it. So, the other day, I was re-running Chobits (I'm collecting the manga now.... talk about addiction) coz I thought I haven't watched it for quite a loooong time. I realized the theme songs for this anime (BGM especially) are mostly bossa tunes. What are the odds~ Hahaha...

So yesterday I went to Borders, looking for Chobits manga. But unfortunately, they don't have Volume 1 in The Curve. So I booked it online at Kinokuniya, KLCC together with Samurai Deeper KYO Volume 32. (Yuan is fighting Hotaru in this Volume...ooopsss... OOT Pulak~*OOT - Out of topic* ) and will be picking them up this Friday. (Hurry Friday!! a pun?! )

CORRECTION: Yuan is fighting Hotaru in Volume 31. Too excited about getting Volume 32 and as usual, my buffer #31 has not been read. Will be reading it once #32 is in my hand.

Frustrated with Borders... I went to Sun Comic and picked up some new anime. AND 2 CDs of Chobits OST. I was really happy yesterday (Happiness: MAX). After I paid, i realized that I also wanted Code Geass OST and there were 4 of them in the store. I told myself "Maybe i should get it the next time I come". The guy at the cashier keeps on talking to me about Samurai Deeper KYO (how the anime sucks bla bla bla... Tell me something I don't know) and also about Blade Of The Immortal (again.. about how the anime sucks... I doubt he read the manga, coz when I talked about the manga he went "blank"). He was a cheerful dude and because of the none stop talking, he accidentally put an extra DVD in my bag. I realized it after i finished a few plates of sashimi at Sakae Sushi (I was checking on the Chobits OST i just bought). It was raining heavily so I refused to go back to Cineleisure. Maa, ii ka~ I'll just give it back the next time I go. (It's some gaming DVD I think.. not that I have any use of it)

Anyway, here's a couple of songs from Chobits OST (bossa tunes) for you to enjoy. These 2 are my favourites. Saa, kitte kudasai. Douzo~

Until next time.

Allelujah Haptism Failed Me!

I used to like Lockon Stratos because his Mobile Suit, Dynames was green (and he was kinda cute too), and his Seiyuu*, Shinichiro Miki *hah~~*. But personality wise, I love Allelujah Haptism/Hallelujah Haptism. And I love Kyrios too (his Gundam). I even have them both in my loft.

Akira's Allelujah Haptism and Kyrios

I've always like characters that has alter ego or split personality or call it whatever you want. (ehem... Onime no Kyo and Mibu Kyoshiro) AND I've always loved the bad guys.

I'm currently following the Second Season of Gundam 00 and to make things short (I have a serious headache today) I'm very very very disappointed with my fav Gundam Meister*. I miss the psycho, Hallelujah. I wish he's alive.

My theory: A woman can make a man senseless.
The picture portrays everything. Enough said....

*Gundam Meister = the person who pilots the Gundam
