Summer 2012 Anime

Oh Sh- Been a while since I last posted anything here. Talk about writer's block. Huhu. Anyway, hope that everyone has been living a great life thus far. I know I've always been giving excuses when it comes to writing. And here, I have to blogs that I need to update! (P/s: Do visit the other so-called "formal" lifestyle blog: Live Your Own Pace)


So, what have I been up to?
Many! I still owe u guys the L'Arc~en~Ciel post right? I'll get right at it.


But before that, let's talk a bit about Summer 2012 Anime. 


As usual, I would only write about the Anime that I'm looking forward/ might want to watch. Hahaha. I'm good like that. Somehow, the Spring 2012 Anime was a disappointment to me.

1) Kingdom

Hmm.. this anime is based on a manga by Yasuhisa Hara. Well, it was released a couple of weeks ago and I've watched one episode. What I can gather so far is it's about 2 orphans, one who aims to become 'The greatest General' and the other who will be an emperor and is set during the Warring Period of ancient China. I'm not sure if I still wanna watch it. I'm not really attracted to the art. (Yes, I'm very picky and particular about it, unless the storyline is good) As for me, a historical anime has to have that deep impact. For example: (clears throat) I'm a fan of ikemen. I mean, come on, most of us girls do. And something like Hakuouki would really hit the spot!


Don't think you miss anything if you don't watch it. So,
I say: Watchable



2) Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita

I have no idea what this anime is all about, but the title is very intriguing. I just might watch it. So I guess I'll wait for it's release date and then update about it. Gonna watch it because of Nakahara Mai!!! (If you wonder who she is, she's playing Zakuro of Otome Youkai Zakuro)

3) Natsuyuki Rendezvous

Romance-themed Anime. I think my last favourite was Kimi ni Todoke. Oh how I love Kazehaya. Wonder what this will serve? From the info I gather, it's about a part-time florist, a heartbroken store manager and a half-naked good looking ghost husband! With Nakamura Yuuichi (Saotome Alto, kyaa!) and FukuJun, I'm hoping for something that makes my heart "blossoms"!

4) Arcana Famiglia: Yūreisen no Majutsushi

I dunno what to expect from this, but it does look interesting. Can I say it's like... a Mafia Family with supernatural powers? Whatever it is. I'm watching this. Check out the seiyuu line up mang!

5) Chouyaku Hyakunin Isshu: Uta Koi

This is the historical IMPACT that I'm talking about. HAHAHA! Ok, I'm sorry for putting a point out of my preferences. However, Yes, this is the type of Historical Anime that I want to watch. With Endo Aya (Sheryl Nome of Macross Frontier), Sawabe Junichi (Grimmjow from Bleach), Hayami Saori (Musubi from Sekirei) in the seiyuu line up. Let's hope this is a good one.

6) Binbougami ga!

Finally! A Sunrise-produce Anime! An anime based on a manga in JUMP! Hahahaha! Ok I don't wanna read the plot summary, I don't wanna check out the manga, yet, I'm just gonna wait.

7) Hakuouki:Reimei-roku

Every season, there has to be an anime related to "Demon King" and "Heroes". OH well, I'm gonna watchi this because of Takahiro Sakurai. Haven't heard him voicing anything for a long time.

Wednesday Wellness: Royale SPA , Like Royalties!

I love spa day! Every other week, I will go to spas around Damansara and try to find one with the best service and the best offer (and of course, the best promotion for the month).

It's been a while yaawwwww~

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything in here. I'm so sorry for being away for toooooo long :D I've been busy adapting with new working life (working hour and environment) and also in the process of adapting to sort of... new life :D

I'm posting an entry today because I just got a new lappy!!! Thank you so much to my favourite individual in this world. It's a purple lappy (although initially I want a pink one) but purple is fine too! And don't get me wrong. There is a big purpose of why I have this new lappy. One is because of the new project that we're planning (more like, in the midst of initializing the project) and also, to start up a new blog project. See, I told you, there's a bigger picture behind all these :D

So, I'll update some more when I'm free and really have nothing to do. More like, when I REALLY have time for myself. I've been busy with work (the usual bullshit, I know. I'll come up with a better one next time)

P/S: we have a new cat. I don't have his pics here because, well.. it's a new lappy :D we named him Kuzco (yeah, as in the Llama Kuzco) :D Now I understand why his head is a bit tilted on the right!

Guide: Sick during vacation

I have this thing with being sick on a vacation or on a trip. But this is the worst, so far. Maybe the lack of sleep and the part where I keep on sleeping late at night is a drag to this. I'm currently in Singapore, my third trip here because I'm meeting my friend Tang from Brazil. Unfortunately, I couldn't spend much time with him today because I spent the whole afternoon sleeping. The coughing and flu are exhausting.

So what are the essentials you need when you're facing times like these during your vacation?

1) Water

Drink a lot of water. It doesn't matter if it's plain water or juices or sports drink, as long as it's fluid. But if you have throat irritation or cough, I suggest you not to drink anything citrus-y. Take a lot of fluid to lower down your body temperature. This is the most important part.

2) Light Food

You might want to forget about buffets and such. If you don't feel well, you might want to eat something light like bread for example. Something to give you energy (to walk at least... ).

3) Meds

If you can get paracetamol, this could help with relieving headaches and also fever. If you can, try not to take meds. But, in my case, I need it really bad. Especially flu meds.

4) Sleep and Rest

Regardless of what you do, where you are, if you're sick, get a lot of rest. This will help a lot with recovering. So if you want to get on your feet the next day, then PLEASE, take a good long rest.

I guess, that's all I can think of now. I'm still sick but I'm doing this (not good). Until then people.

News: Holiday Yeay.

Something good is flowing out of me. Not saying it's bad. It's overflowing with happiness and it's the same feeling as getting something after wishing for it for a long, long time. Well basically, it is like that. After getting a new job and leaving the company, I feel happier. While waiting for the transition to end, I'm lucky to have public holidays filling most of the days before I start the new job. This weekend we're leaving for a short holiday to meet a friend of mine that is from Brazil, Tang. I knew Tang from twitter and we've been friends for almost a year now. Next week we'll be leaving for another short holiday to a different place. But that's a secret. Hahahaha. Will update the info after the holiday.

Today is such a boring day. I'm at work with one colleague and everyone else is still having holidays. I should have taken unpaid leave. I really have nothing much to do at work and I'm not really into the creative writing mode either. I can't play castleville because the network blocks FB. le sigh. Ah well. I'm just gonna spend my afternoon napping I guess. Huhuhu. Kidding.

Pumpkin and I talk about almost everything almost anywhere, anytime. We usually have random talk about smallest things to serious things.
